Hearing Juliet’s words, Gordon smiled awkwardly and withdrew his hand. 

Gordon was in his late fifties yet still well–maintained. He was of medium height, lean, optimistic, and often smiling. He lost his wife in middle age and raised two children by himself without remarrying, Juliet and Xavier were naughty and extroverted, frequently causing him trouble, which pissed him off. But Gordon had put a lifetime of effort into them. 

“Mr. Cabello, thank you so much!” Gordon thanked Elvis. 

As Xavier often caused trouble at school in the past, Gordon had always been asked to meet the teacher, But it was the first time he had been requested to go to the police station. Gordon was a kind person who was well–behaved and never violated the law. Thus, he was indeed at a loss at that time because of Xavier.
