Chapter 53 

My hands flew to my mouth which had hung open.

Alpha Leo was my second chance mate? 

“Why are do you look like you’ve just seen a ghost?” He asked with a big smile on his face and then his eyes widened. The rain of realization had dawned on him too. “Is Dakota finally back?” 

“Why didn’t you tell me we were second chance mate? 

He sauntered over. His hands reached out to my waist and he drew me closer to himself. Then, he brought his face to my neck and took in my scent. “I wanted you to get your wolf first.” 

He pressed his lips between my neck and my shoulder and kissed it. “I missed you 

“I have always been here. You are the one who completely ignored me.” I could here the bitterness in my voice. It made me look vulnerable before Leo, but I cared less. I wanted to be vulnerable before him and I wanted him to see what I felt for him. 

He brought his lips to my chin and kissed my chin. He planted more kisses on my jawline, till he finally reached my mouth, Then, Leo halted, his eyes on my lips with his lips almost touching mine.

I felt wanted and it felt much more than the lustful want.

I blinked repeatedly, surprised. 

My eyes searched his. I could

It was morning already and then it hit me that I had been with Alpha Leo for a full day.
