Chapter 54
IVY’S POV
I clenched my fists as I watched Alpha Leo and that lowly she–welf get intimate.
The scene of them getting intimate has been on repeat on my PC for a long time now. I had cameras planted in Leo’s room. so I could monitor them. For some time now, I have been satisfied with what I have been seeing.
Alpha Leo always leaves the room before his mate wakes up and when she falls asleep at night, he is still working
But now, he was back to his room early and Rita was wearing a nice red dress. It made me wonder if they had anything special to celebrate.
My blood boiled hot as I watched Leo touch his mate the same way he used to touch me.
I bared my teeth. I should be the one pinned to the bed, with the Alpha releasing his seeds in me. I looked at the poisoned bottle of drink I was holding. “Hopefully, this should be more than enough to stop her from getting pregnant with an heir for the Alpha
I just had to find a way to give her the drink directly. But how!
I flung the drink, then my PC, got out of the bed and walked to the window. When Alpha Leo got himself a Luna, I rented an apartment on the top floor of a building with a view of Alpha Leo’s mansion
From where I stood, I could see his mansion. Watching his mansion from here fueled the need for me to snatch the position of Alpha Leo’s Luna.
I looked back at the drink I threw to the floor, It would have been much easier to give Rita that drink without her knowing it was from me if I lived in the Alpha’s mansion
I turned back to the window and the need to find my way increased.
I took out my phone from my back pocket and dialed Sebastian’s number. Hopefully, it’ll be my last time calling him for something like this.
“Sebastian, I need a favor from you,” I said immediately he picked my call.
“What do you want?” He asked.
“I want their breakfast poisoned tomorrow.”
“Are you crazy?” Sebastian thundered, knowing fully well that I was talking about Alpha Leo and his mate.
“We will get caught in a heartbeat. Killing a lowly wolf, like a car mechanic, but attempting to kill the Alpha and his Luna is another thing. Pack members will give it their all to find us and we will definitely be caught.”
“I’m not planning to kill them,” I scoffed. “I need to get into the Alpha’s mansion and to do that, I have to give Rita a reason for me to move into the mansion. If I can give her a valid reason, Alpha Leo would let me
in
“So poisoning their breakfast would give them a valid reason to let you into their home.” I could see the mocking tone in Sebastian’s voice and I frowned.
“Like I said earlier. The plan is not to poison them. The plan is to be the hero. I want to stop them from getting poisoned.”
“Ahhh!” Sebastian exclaimed in realization and then began to laugh. “We would need a scapegoat then. What will be your story?”

Chapter 54
I smirked. “I heard a group of wolves plotting to poison the Alphe and his Luna at a har. They bribed the maid that’ll take breakfast to the Alpha and his Luna. Of course, they’ll check if their breakfast was poisoned. When they confirm that it was, I would have to be rewarded for saving the Alpha and his Luna’s ”
“Mind you, Alpha Leo can tell if his food is poisoned or not. Are you sure he’ll be willing to reward you for doing something he does not need you for?”
I laughed. My target was the Alpha’s mate, not the Alpha. I knew he could see through me, so it will be hard to play my mind games with him. His mate on the other hand was gullible. If I managed to warn her about the poison before the Alpha finds out then I would have her trusting in me totally and through her, it will be much easier to get to the Alpha himself.
“He will if his mate asks him to. You should see how close they have gotten lately. If I don’t act fast, Alpha Leo will be getting a heir soon and your ex–mate will be the mother.”
“That’s
‘s not happening.” Sebastian growled. I smirked, satisfied at the frustration in his voice.
“Then, we have to stop it from happening.
“Prepare to send a message to that bh. I will get a scapegoat and you’ll be Rita’s hero when tomorrow comes.”
RITA’S POV
I took a look at Ivy’s message for the hundred and ninety–ninth time.
Rita, I went to the bar last night and as usual my ears were down I heard a group of wolves talking about poisoning the Alpha and you. Before I could take note of their faces, they left. I don’t know where they got the guts from or why they are planning to poison you. All I know is that you should test your breakfast before eating it today. I should have called immediately I heard the plan but my phone was switched off. I tried visiting, but I could not find a way to do so without getting caught. Luckily, I was able to charge my phone today and I hope you see this message before you take breakfast
I looked the maid kneeling across the room. Her face was covered in tears.
“I didn’t do it.” Her voice was weak from how much she had cried when I told the Alpha that our breakfast was poisoned. He confirmed it, but to be sure he had the food tested.
The door swung open and Leo walked in with a few warriors. “Take her away,” he snarled, completely confirming that our breakfast was truly poisoned.
