“I’ll think about it” a rush of happiness and butterflies filled me, I jerked my body up smiling largely at him, I wanted to scream in excitement. I started laughing and threw my self on him throwing my arms around him clutching onto him tightly. I let out a small squeal and giggled pulling away kissing his cheek. Excitement and happiness was coursing through me, almost pulsating through my whole body, wave after wave, my breathing became labored. 

I threw myself back into the soft sheets, just smiling at the ceiling, he was watching me carefully, I looked over at him grinning scrunching my face up at him. He put his hand in my neck softly running his thumb over my cheek. I grabbed his wrist just holding it making my own small circles on the inside of his wrist with my own thumb. 

“Are you going to start being mean again later?” I asked him looking up meeting his eyes. 

He frowned “That’s not up to me, if my wolf is still calm no…” he responded. 

“Why does your wolf need blood to be calm…?” I questioned. 

“He doesn’t… He needs you to be calm” he answered. 

“Then why-” 

“When I’m with you for too long, he wants to mate with you, the only thing that I’ve found that is even comparable to your scent, or your skin, is killing… and that only lasts so long Kendal…” he told me quietly his eyes not meeting mine. 

“If we mate would he calm down more?” I asked. 

“I’m afraid that if we mate, because I’ve waited so long that I’ll kill you, just from losing control. I have

He was looking up as he spoke as if he was thinking of exactly how to tell me.

“I understand… I can handle it” he looked at me skeptically, 

“I have to go to work” he told me dropping the conversation. I frowned. 

“Can you please stay with me a little longer?” I almost pleaded, he looked at me and I begged with my eyes, his eyes met mine and he sighed, I grinned knowing I had him. He hesitantly nodded, I smirked in triumph and snuggled closer to him. We talked casually about random things the rest of the morning. I played with the sheets and giggled until my stomach hurt. He told me a story about once when he was in high school and he lit himself on fire with firecrackers. Hearing his voice was enough to satisfy me, but hearing him go into detail, his words painting pictures in my head, it was nice. 

Finally he sat up, I admired his muscular physique staying down in the soft sheets, I checked the time seeing it was 11, he had stayed for longer than I expected.
