Ezra's pov

Few days passed my health improved

Gauzes and bandages were removed and the pain vanished.

The only pain that remained was that of his forceful marking

The mark itches but still remains

Each day as I look in the mirror I remember the day he did it.

Seeing my condition my punishment was reduced as of now

I was currently working as a maid inside his castle

I was cleaning his room with a sweeper in my hand when I saw him exit from the dressing room

A navy blue Armani suit fitted his body perfectly and with long confident steps he entered.

He was fixing his watch on his wrist when he found me staring at him

I lowered my gaze and continued with my work feeling embarrassed

He stood in front of the mirror and combed his soft silky hair

" Come here"

He ordered and I made my way towards him leaving the mob on the floor

"...Yes?"

He refused to look at me and continued to stare at the mirror behind me

"Clean these"

He said pointing towards his black shoes

"B...but... I..."

"Hurry !! I have a meeting to attend..."

"..I ...won't"

His hands stopped tying his tie and he stared at me

"You are not in a position to refuse my orders Ezra...or else the dungeon await you"

"...why are you doing this Xav...just reject me!! Kill me..."

He grabbed my waist and pulled my body towards him making me land on his chest

Tingles erupted and the heat process started to begin

He retraced the mark on my neck with his lips and lingered kisses on it

Before I know my back was slammed on the mirror behind and his lips landed on mine

This was a foreign feeling I was experiencing after so many years

But I must admit it felt good

We were destined to be together and all this felt right

But soon I was turned around

My face infront of the mirror with his arm around my neck

"Can you see how ugly you look my dear mate? These dull eyes pale skin...stick like figure....I think moon goddess made a mistake while choosing you..."

I looked up and realised that what he said was true

I was no match for him

"But ..what to do! You can't complaint to her..but no matter how ugly the toy is you can still play with it ..right?"

He said while kissing my cheek from behind

I felt disgusted

Not at his words but at myself

Why was I so ugly?

Was he ashamed of me?

Why was I so week and dependent on others?

Why was I such a evil person?

"Your highness!! We found that girl!!!"

A maid said while running into the room

On hearing her voice Xavier pushed me away from him like I disgusted him

"She is waiting in the hall my lord!! She completely matches your description!!"

A wide smile appeared on Xavier's lips

One which I haven't seen in a long time

"I am coming"

He said and was going to follow the maid when I stopped him

"Who is she?"

I wonder who was this girl who they all were looking for so desperately since last few days.

He looked so happy

Did he loved her?

He turned around and replied with a wide smile

"Your next future queen"

My world shattered right there and then

".bu..t .how?....I ..am..ur....mate"

"Yes you are my mate who will be used for mating while she will be my queen used for ruling my kingdom"

My voice raised displaying the anger inside me

" Don't worry Ezra...my wolf needs you and I can't deprive him of his pleasure with you....but as for me she will be my everything..."

"I can be your everything Xavier!! Why are you doing this!!!Please !! I admit I was wrong back then but please can't you forgive me!! "

I dropped on his feet pleading him for one last chance
