Revenge is Best Served After Reborn (James) novel Chapter 1026

Watching Aryan walk away, Griffin asked, "Want me to have someone stop him?"

"If he wants to leave, let him. He can't afford the penalty fees. He'll come crawling back," Elodie replied, leaning back in her swivel chair, closing her eyes for a moment of rest.

She never imagined Aryan would bail at such a critical time. He had promised her he'd rise to the top of their industry. Yet here he was, crumbling before they even got started.

Griffin asked, "What’s our next move?"

"We’ve got other talent. Divvy up Aryan's projects among them. If he doesn't want this golden opportunity, plenty of others do," Elodie said, stretching lazily. "I'm feeling a bit worn out. Pass the word around—tell everyone to gear up for a do-or-die effort. If we pull this off, I’ll make sure they’re well-rewarded."

"Got it," Griffin nodded and left the office.

Meanwhile, in the talent lounge, several artists were slumped over the table, exhausted. When Griffin walked in, one of them asked, "Bro, can we go home now?"

Aryan's departure had disrupted their schedule too, but they were stuck in this lounge with nowhere to go.

Griffin said, "Aryan's workload will be split among you guys, and it’s top-tier stuff. You’re gonna be busier for a while. Ms. Walker said if you can push through these next two months, the rewards will be worth it."

"What? Two more months? Are you serious?"
