Several bodyguards had already grabbed Griffin, who was clutching his stabbed abdomen. Jenna was about to slap Griffin, but Sophie had no time for that. She shouted, “Adler! Call an ambulance!”
“Right away!” Adler immediately dialed for an ambulance.
Sophie glanced at Odie, who looked like he had something to say but was holding back. She said, “Mr. Odie, my husband was injured here. I need answers.”
Odie, seeing Sophie's misunderstanding, retorted coldly, “I’ve been wanting to get rid of Colby for a long time. I did it, and I’m ready to face the consequences whenever you are!”
“Boss—”
“Shut up!” Odie snapped, “I’m letting you take Colby today, but we’re not done. We’ll settle this another day.”
With that, Odie and Jonah turned and left.
Sophie couldn’t waste time arguing with Odie. She looked down at Colby, who had passed out, and felt a surge of anxiety. She had never seen Colby so gravely injured before.
Outside, Jonah couldn’t help but ask, “Boss, you had nothing to do with this. Why admit it?”
“She pushed me to it! What difference does my admission make? Besides, I’m telling the truth. I’d be happy if Colby were dead!” Odie, getting more furious by the minute, stopped in his tracks and said, “Call the nearest hospital to send an ambulance immediately! Don’t let Colby die so easily.”
“...Yes, boss.”
Meanwhile, Sophie followed Colby into the ambulance. Once they reached the hospital, the doctor arranged by Odie quickly began emergency surgery on Colby.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
