Revenge is Best Served After Reborn (James) novel Chapter 1086

**"What do you mean my chef can't make fish soup?"**

Odie was momentarily puzzled but quickly realized Jonah must be behind this.

Odie's face darkened as he called out towards the door, "Jonah! Get in here!"

Jonah knew he couldn’t keep this a secret for long, but he didn't expect to be caught so soon. He walked into the study, head bowed. "Boss."

"What's this about the fish soup?"

"...I noticed you wanted some, so I asked Ms. Sophie to make a batch."

"And you did this in my name?"

"...Yes."

Odie felt a surge of anger but, seeing Sophie nearby, he swallowed the harsh words he was about to unleash. "Get out!"

His expression was thunderous as Jonah turned to leave. "You too, out!" Odie added, glaring at Sophie.

Sophie, who hadn't planned on entering, quickly turned and left.

Watching her retreating figure, Odie felt a growing heaviness in his chest. Jonah, almost at the door, couldn't help but speak. "Boss, actually—"

"Shut up! Get out!" Odie barked, not wanting to hear another word.
