"I think it's exactly what you meant! Let me tell you right now, don't even think about backing out! I've already agreed to let Colby recover here, so you're staying put until he's back on his feet."
Odie turned to Jonah and said, "Go prepare rooms for Ms. Sandy and Mr. Pei. If there's one thing the Minton family has in abundance, it's extra rooms."
He shot a warning glance at Sophie. "Make sure they don't cause any trouble in my house, or else..."
"Mr. Odie, rest assured, they won't cause any issues. Ms. Sandy and Mr. Pei aren't the kind to create problems, right?"
Sandy couldn't be bothered with Odie's words. All she cared about was enjoying everything the city had to offer.
Angelo, however, was in a bind. How was he going to return to Devonport and explain Sophie's situation to James? It had been days, and Sophie still hadn't returned. James must be worried sick!
As Angelo pondered this, he looked up to find Sophie smiling at him. A shiver ran down his spine. He couldn't shake the feeling that Sophie knew something he didn't.
Could Sophie have a reason for keeping them at the Minton residence?
"Bro? What's up with you?" Sandy asked, puzzled.
Angelo quickly replied, "Nothing! Absolutely nothing!"

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
