Sandy was pushing her way through the crowd with Odie, tears streaming down her cheeks. She hadn’t noticed that with every word she uttered, Odie’s face grew paler.
A survival game?
How familiar that sounded.
Barely anyone made it out of such games alive.
Could someone as delicate as Sophie really last two hours?
She had found a safe zone but chose to lead others there, drawing fire to herself.

“Find her!” Odie commanded, barely containing his rage. “Even if you have to tear this place apart, find Sophie!”
“Yes, sir!”
Sandy collapsed to the ground, utterly defeated.
She never thought she’d face something so terrifying.
Surrounded by glitz and glamour, she always believed the world was beautiful.
She had no idea it had such a dark and frightening side.
“We found her! We found her!”
Someone shouted, and Odie immediately turned toward the voice.
Colby was slowly coming down the stairs, carrying Sophie in his arms. She was draped in his jacket, utterly exhausted, resting against him.
“Shen…”
Odie instinctively wanted to go to her but hesitated, stopping in his tracks.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
