"Just letting them go like that, Sophie? You're too soft!"
Adler watched the retreating figures, shaking his head in disbelief.
Sophie replied, "They're just working folks, doing their job. You've already beaten them up. They didn't finish their task, so now they're broke and bruised. Keeping them here serves no purpose. Unless you want to take them to the hospital?"
"...Good point. I'm not taking them!"
Sophie turned to Colby and asked, "Are you hurt?"
"Not a scratch."
Colby spread his arms wide, giving Sophie a clear view. "They couldn't lay a finger on me."
Seeing this, Adler turned to Jenna beside him and asked, "Let me see, did you get hurt?"
"If you're not hurt, how could I be? Those small fries weren't even worth my time."
"...That's my Jenna, always so formidable!"
"Of course!"
Just then, Rick entered from outside and turned to Sophie. "Ms. Sophie, Colt is here."
Behind Rick, Colt walked in. "Ms. Sophie."
"What's up?"
She had just left Burke International, and now they were already knocking at her door. It probably wasn't anything good.
Colt said, "Bea invites Ms. Sophie to visit the Burke family."

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
