Upon hearing this, Sophie chuckled, "What are you talking about, Bea?"
"I don't want that trunk of treasures anymore. It's all yours," Bea declared. "But you must return that 45% share of the company!"
"Bea, do you not understand the situation?" Sophie replied, "Those 45% shares of Burke International could buy you a hundred of those trunks, and you think one trunk of treasures could exchange for it? Aren't you being a bit too greedy?"
"You..."
Bea knew the contents of that trunk couldn't compare to the shares Sophie held, but it was the best offer she had.
"Sophie, you should remember, those shares were given to you by our James! How can you do this to him?" Bea said, glancing at Colby.
Colby merely glanced back, and Bea withdrew her gaze, feeling the chill. She insisted, "Sophie, you know well you got those shares without spending a penny, given to you by our James! Now I've given you my trunk of jewelry, you should be satisfied! Don't take things too far!"
"I'd like to remind you, Bea, that your grandson gave me those shares willingly. I didn't force him." Sophie said, "If you're here for this matter, then there's no need to talk further. I've kept that junk of yours long enough. If you want to redeem your belongings, then come up with the money, and I'll hand over the items."

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
