"But shouldn't a normal husband be angry if he finds out his wife is hiding something from him?" Jenna asked, puzzled. "Why don't you seem to care at all?"
Colby repeated himself, "I listen to my wife. If she doesn't tell me, I don't ask."

Adler chimed in, "Asking is pointless! This is a mess!"
"Let's go upstairs; I'll change your bandage," Colby said, already moving to Sophie's side. Sophie nodded, feeling a bit dizzy after all the commotion.
Seeing Colby about to take Sophie upstairs, Angelo and Sandy peeked out from the second floor. Sophie was taken aback. When did they get here?
"Is the dispute over already? That was quick," Angelo said. He had been hiding in the room, eavesdropping. From the sounds downstairs, he wasn't sure if it was safe for him and Sandy, so they stayed put until things calmed down.
"It's been fine for a while! I told you so!" Sandy said, walking up to Sophie nonchalantly. But when she saw the cut on Sophie's forehead, she asked, "Wait, when did you go out and hurt your head?"
As Sandy reached out to touch Sophie's forehead, Colby quickly blocked her hand. "My wife needs to rest," he said coldly, guiding Sophie upstairs.
Sophie patted Colby's hand. "She didn't do anything wrong. You're being rude!"
Hearing this, Colby said to Sandy, "Please step aside. My wife needs to rest."

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
