"Adler, grab the crowbar from the trunk."
A cold glint flickered in Jenna's eyes as she said, "Time to show them how to really fight."
"Are you serious?" Adler gulped hard. This seemed way over the top! A quick scuffle would've sufficed, but Jenna with a crowbar? That was a whole new level.
"Jenna..."
"Shut it!" Jenna snapped, "If you don't move now, I'll take you down with them!"
Adler didn't dare defy her. The thugs weren't giving them any room to breathe, charging straight at them. Jenna swiftly lifted her leg, her stiletto heel slicing a bloody line across one thug's face.
The thugs kept coming, each one eager to make her pay. Jenna quickly caught on—they meant business, real deadly business.
So, Jenna didn't hold back, aiming her kicks at their vital spots. Watching from the sidelines, Adler winced with each strike. When Jenna finally got her hands on the crowbar, her attacks grew even more brutal.
Her old man had taught her well. Girls might not be as strong as boys, but they could use their agility and wits to turn the tables.
The thugs were left reeling, Jenna darting among them like a nimble snake. When she broke free, the men were sprawled on the ground, clutching their wounds.
Adler was floored. They were totally outclassed! He hadn’t even needed to lift a finger!
Shaking his head, Adler looked down and spotted a familiar badge on the ground. The sight stopped him cold.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
