Revenge is Best Served After Reborn (James) novel Chapter 1258

"Why not chase? Chase."

A deep, resonant voice echoed from a corner on the second floor. The man was shrouded in a black cloak, his face hidden behind a white mask. Even his voice was altered by a voice changer.

Harold said, "It's not wise to provoke the Pollard family."

"This is Devonport; the Pollard family is nothing to me. So what if I provoke them?" With a slight lift of his hand, his bodyguards burst forth, rushing downstairs.

The guests at the dinner were still clueless about the unfolding chaos, and the reporters were quickly forced to shut off their cameras.

"What are you doing?"

Reporters were driven out of the hotel, and everyone couldn't help but gasp. Based on their years of experience in Devonport, they knew tonight's event at the Regent Hotel was bound to be a tough battle. All they could do was stay quiet, like turtles retreating into their shells.

"Move aside! If you hurt Miss Pollard, the Pollard family will make you pay with your lives!" Jenna tried to intimidate the bodyguards, but Sophie had already heard footsteps coming from the banquet hall.

"Jenna, something's not right. We need to run!"

"What's there to be afraid of? They wouldn't dare lay a finger on me!"

Sandy couldn't believe that the Mintons would dare to challenge the overseas Pollard family! At that moment, the banquet hall's bodyguards also swarmed out. Seeing their numbers, Sandy felt a pang of fear but still mustered her courage.

"I am Miss Pollard! Touch me, and my father will not let you off!"
