Timothy couldn't help but frown at what he saw.
"Kiran?"
Sophie was taken aback. Who knew that simply changing Angelo's clothes could make such a difference in his demeanor?
"Clothes really do make the man," she thought as she stepped forward, extending her hand. "Mr. Angelo."
Kiran gave Sophie a cool, disinterested look and didn't bother to shake her hand. His voice was icy, his presence radiating an innate nobility. "Where's my sister?"
Sophie was impressed with Angelo's acting skills. "She's been taken by the new CEO of the Mintons. I knew you'd show up tonight, so let me take you to her."
Timothy, listening from a distance, furrowed his brows even more. According to their intel, Kiran was supposed to be dead! How could he be in Devonport now? Was Angelo pulling another trick?
After Sophie and Kiran left, Timothy hesitated for a moment but decided to follow them to find out what was really going on.
In the car, Sophie patted Kiran's shoulder, "Nice job."
She handed him an earpiece and said, "When we get there, just follow my instructions. We have to get Sandy back today, no matter what."
Kiran glanced at Sophie, his face revealing nothing.
Sophie's car sped through downtown streets until they arrived outside the Regent Hotel. "I'll wait here. She should still be inside."
Kiran adjusted his cufflinks and stepped out of the car. Sophie reminded him through the earpiece, "Remember, show some authority. Don't let them doubt who you are."

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
