Revenge is Best Served After Reborn (James) novel Chapter 1273

Angelo slipped back into his room, making sure no one was around before quickly locking the door behind him. He whipped out his phone and dialed the Pollard family’s overseas number.

“Hello? Spring? Get Dad on the phone, quick!”

“What's going on? What are you talking about? His son is alive! Hurry up and get my dad!”

Spring, on the other end, stared at the receiver in confusion.

What the heck is happening? Whose son is alive?

“Spring, who’s calling?”

Upstairs, Caelum was coming down the stairs, and Spring, still shocked, turned to him. “Sir, it’s the young master. He’s saying something about his brother being alive.”

Caelum frowned deeply. He walked over, grabbed the phone, and heard Angelo’s frantic voice: “Hello? Spring? Can you hear me?”

Recognizing his son’s voice, Caelum took a steadying breath and said, “What nonsense are you spouting now?”

“Dad!” Angelo’s relief was palpable. “You finally picked up! You’re not gonna believe this, but Ayan is still alive!”

Caelum’s face hardened. “Stop talking rubbish. You know your brother died in that car accident. How could he be alive?”

“Just listen! Yesterday, Sandy got nabbed by Harold, the new CEO of the Mintons. Sophie asked me to pretend to be Kiran, and I ended up knocking myself out jumping from the second floor. When I came to, Sandy had been rescued! They all said they saw Kiran. Ayan must be alive! Why would they lie?”

Caelum listened to Angelo’s wild tale, barely keeping his composure. “I think you’ve lost your marbles. You’re not staying in Devonport any longer. I’m getting you and your sister out of there.”

“No way! You promised I could come here, and I’m not leaving! Sandy isn’t either!”
