In a heartbeat, all eyes zeroed in on Angelo.
No matter how much he wanted to duck out, there was no way to hide. He never imagined his old man would bring Ricardo along.
Back when James first introduced Ricardo to him, he just suggested finding a place for Ricardo to crash. Since James couldn’t ask Ricardo directly, Angelo had to step in, pretending to be Kiran. So, for a while, it was Angelo showing up as Kiran whenever Ricardo was around.
"Why are you all staring at me?" Angelo muttered, feeling a bit guilty. "This has nothing to do with me. I honestly don’t know anything."
"Mr. Angelo, that's not fair at all. You've known the secret of Devonport for ages. Why didn’t you spill the beans earlier?"
"Yeah, we've been running around in circles because of you," Jenna and Adler chimed in, glaring at Angelo. Sandy, on the other hand, looked completely puzzled, clearly having no clue what Ricardo was talking about.
Seeing the situation, Angelo shot a pleading look at Sophie.
Sophie understood that Angelo had been keeping his identity under wraps, so the person who initially questioned Ricardo must have been Kiran. There was no need to spill all the details in front of Ricardo.
Slowly, she said, "Mr. Angelo has already told me what he knows, but I want to hear it straight from you, Ricardo. What exactly is the secret of Devonport?"
Ricardo's words dripped with sarcasm. "It's pretty ironic, isn't it? Being from one of the four major families and not knowing what Devonport's treasure is."

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
