Sophie didn't catch on to anything unusual.
It wasn't until Colby saw Sophie safely to her room that he returned, looking serious.
"Adler, you need to keep an eye on your girlfriend," Colby said with a stern look.
Jenna, hands on her hips, shot back, "Colby! I'm your sister!"
"If you're my sister, you should be looking out for your sister-in-law, not letting her stress out."
Jenna's confidence melted away at Colby's words. "I was just a bit anxious, okay?"
Adler, trying to sound serious, chimed in, "Colby, that's no way to talk to your sister! Even I wouldn't dare speak to her like that!"
"Breaking news, everyone!" Sandy burst out of her room, waving her phone. "Have you guys seen this? It's blowing up everywhere!"
"What are you talking about?" Adler and Jenna exchanged confused looks.
They'd been so wrapped up in Sophie's issues all day that they hadn't noticed anything online.
"You've got to be kidding! You missed this huge news?"
Sandy pointed at her phone screen, "Earlier today, Claire was claiming she was the Russell family's heiress. Then, within an hour, it vanished from the trending topics! Right after, an article popped up about a fake heiress getting plastic surgery to impersonate someone. It's all here in detail!"

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
