Upon hearing Jonah's words, Sophie couldn't help but furrow her brow. How does someone like Odie, unfamiliar with the area, just vanish into thin air?
"Odie didn't leave you a message or call before disappearing?" Sophie asked.
Jonah nodded, "My phone's been on the entire time, but I haven't received a single message or call from the boss."
With that answer, Sophie quickly turned to Colby, saying, "Colby, can you send out some people to look for him? Devonport's too big for just Jonah's team to handle."
"Already on it," Colby replied, not missing a beat. He'd been on his phone for a while now, having already sent his folks out to search for Odie.
Sophie murmured, a bit impressed, "That was fast."
Colby put his phone down and added, "I've got someone pulling the surveillance footage from around your place; we should hear something soon."
"Thanks, Colby."
Meanwhile, across the seas—
"Lost again! How do I keep losing?" Caelum's face was clouded with frustration as he looked at the chessboard, feeling as if his dignity was slipping away.
Gordon placed his chess piece down with a faint smile, "Caelum, now that you've lost, shouldn't you give me what I asked for?"
"With all the treasures the Aldridge family has, why do you need something from an old guy like me?" Caelum sighed deeply, but seeing Gordon's sly grin, he finally relented, "Alright, you can have it, but my son and daughter have gone missing in your Devonport. Don't you owe me an explanation?"
"You didn't tell me Kiran and Angelo were the same person," Gordon replied calmly.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
