To Sandy, the question seemed trivial. She couldn't wrap her head around why Gordon would zero in on such a minor detail when there were much bigger fish to fry. Like, had her brother met anyone new lately? Had he been in touch with The Silent Shadows, or what exactly had he been scheming this past month? But Gordon steered clear of those deeper waters.

"Ms. Sandy, this is the only question I need you to answer. Once you do, you're free to go," he said, his face still wearing that friendly smile that made him seem so approachable. You'd never guess he was the same guy who, just moments ago, ordered a knife to her throat.

Sandy rolled her eyes and said, "He didn't take me anywhere. My brother just kept me holed up in a townhouse in the city. He rarely steps outside, and ever since that day, he whisked me overseas… just didn't take me back home."

"Just share the townhouse's location, and you can be on your way," Gordon said, passing his smartphone to Sandy via Rick.

With a bit of hesitation, Sandy jotted down the address. "This place must be something my brother bought recently. I'm not exactly sure where it is, but I recall it's at the end of this road, on the left, with a massive front yard and a pond."

Sandy painted a picture of their latest digs as best as she could remember. Gordon let her finish and then said, "Thank you, Ms. Sandy. That's all I needed."

"Alright," Sandy replied, handing the phone back to Rick. As she got ready to leave, a thought struck her. She turned back and said, "Mr. Gordon, could you please tell Sophie I'm sorry… I know my brother hurt her, but he's still my brother. It hurts to think of either of them getting hurt. If he ends up against you, I hope you can give him a break."

"Ms. Sandy, you're overthinking it. It's just business, not a fight to the death. Don't worry, it won't come to that," Gordon reassured her.
