“Sandy.”
Kiran crouched down, pressing his ear gently to his mom's belly. He closed his eyes and said, “She's my long-awaited sister, Sandy.”
His thoughts slowly drifted back to the present.
Kiran remembered the beauty of his dreams but was also sharply aware of reality’s harshness.
He didn’t let himself get lost in despair because there were more important things waiting for him in the real world.
Looking at Sandy, who was already fast asleep on the bed, Kiran smiled. He carefully removed her face mask and tossed it into the trash bin nearby.
Before leaving, he left a light on for Sandy; she was afraid of the dark and could only sleep well with a light on.
Outside the room, the smile on Kiran’s face gradually faded into a cool indifference. The maid stood at the door, nervously saying, “Mr. Angelo…”
“Make sure Sandy's taken care of, and don’t let her wander off.”
“Yes…”
Kiran turned and walked towards the dark end of the hallway.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free.
