"Ms. Gina, let's keep some distance going forward, alright? I don't want you doing anything that could make my wife misunderstand."
"No way, Colby! Why are you just bowing down to her like that? It's not right to cater to her every whim!"
Gina suddenly got all worked up, pointing a finger at Sophie with fire in her eyes. "This woman keeps telling you to stay away from me, but everyone here knows the truth! She's been out gallivanting these past few days! She's already broken her marriage vows, so why should you stick to yours? A man like you, Colby, deserves better than a cheating wife!"
The more Gina spoke, the more riled up she got, almost ready to rip away Sophie's mask of deceit.
Sophie couldn’t help but chuckle at Gina's outburst. How could someone be so naive?
"Ms. Gina, you're spot on. I agree with you; I'm all for a divorce. The only hitch is... Colby isn't on board. Maybe you could try to change his mind."
With Sophie throwing in the towel, Gina rushed to help Colby up from the fountain. But he shrugged her off, and she couldn't even get close.
Gina was taken aback by the scene. Who in their right mind would accept such public humiliation? Especially someone like Colby!
"Mr. Colby, I've always had a thing for you! If you're willing, I’d do anything for you!"
Gina gazed at Colby with hopeful eyes. Hardly anyone would turn down a sweet, sensible girl like her.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free.
