“No way… There’s just no way. Sophie would never do something like this. I know her!”
Jenna stared at the news, feeling a chill run through her bones. What she initially thought was just a petty argument had clearly spiraled into a full-blown marital crisis.
“No, I’ve got to head over to Aldridge Estate and get some answers!”
Jenna was always this direct. Adler quickly tagged along with her as they drove towards Aldridge Estate.
The entrance of the estate was heavily guarded. As the security guard saw Adler and Jenna’s car pull in again, he approached them with a weary look.
“Ms. Jenna, we’ve told you so many times already, without Mr. Aldridge’s say-so, you really can’t come in. Could you please not make things tough for me?”
“I’m not here to make trouble for you. I just need to talk to Harold!”
The guard looked conflicted but, seeing Jenna’s determined stance—as if she’d camp out there until Harold showed up—he finally relented.
“Ms. Jenna, please hang tight for a moment. I’ll go let Mr. Aldridge know. But if he decides not to see you, there isn't much else I can do.”
“Alright, go on then. I refuse to believe Harold would have the guts to ignore me!”

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
