Sandy felt a pang in her heart as she took in the scene before her. If it weren’t for her, those servants might still be alive.
"Miss Sandy," Kena said, "I've arranged for a car outside. Follow the driver, and you'll find your brother." She added sternly, "Whatever you do, don't let your brother know I helped you. It could cause trouble for Ms. Sophie and me."
Sandy, eager not to cause any issues for Sophie, nodded quickly in agreement. Outside, the driver was already waiting for her.
Once Sandy was out of sight, Kena's worried expression vanished, replaced by a look of stoic calm. She strolled back into the chaos of the Gibbs mansion. The overpowering scent of blood didn’t seem to bother her in the slightest. She even poured herself a glass of red wine and relaxed on the sofa.
After a moment, Kena stood up, glass in hand, and walked to a vintage record player. She slipped on a graceful record and started to hum along, waltzing elegantly as if cradling an invisible partner, thoroughly immersed in the dance.
Meanwhile, cloaked figures emerged from the basement, tidying up the blood and bodies. Kena didn’t stop her dance until the music ended, by which time the room was spotless. All the bodies were discreetly moved to the basement, a place shrouded in secrets.
Late at night, Kiran stood outside the Pearl Hotel, smoking. He took a long drag, then flicked the half-burnt cigarette to the ground. He was alone, until Sandy hopped out of a car nearby and dashed toward him.
Only then did Kiran's expression soften.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
