Even with the gossip mill churning out stories about Colby and Sophie's supposed marital woes, Sophie stood firm as the CEO of S Corporation.
"Clear the way, folks," the butler announced as he stepped out of the villa, prompting the bodyguards at the entrance to swiftly open up a path.
He quickly approached Sophie and said, "Ms. Sophie, the master has been eagerly waiting for you."
Sophie was well aware that Caelum had been the one to rescue Reece. She should have come straight to him upon arriving overseas, but she had prioritized handling issues related to Kiran and The Silent Shadows first.
She couldn’t shake off a bit of guilt towards Caelum. After all, he had lent her a hand, and yet she had set a trap for his son.
Sophie followed the butler into the Pollard family home. As she had anticipated, Caelum was waiting in the living room.
Initially unsure of how to start the conversation, Sophie was relieved when Caelum looked up and said, "Sophie, there's no need to feel awkward. I already know what you're here to ask."

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free.
