Lee buried his head deep, not daring to lift it, his whole body trembling.
The scene before Sophie rendered her silent.
She had considered the worst-case scenarios but never imagined that the betrayal would come from a member of the Russell family.
"So, it's clear now."
Jason's face showed a faint smile as he said, "Ms. Sophie, the position of the head of S Corporation will no longer be yours. This is the outcome of the shareholders' vote..."
Before Jason could finish his sentence, Harold's voice came from outside the conference room.
"Who says this is the outcome of all shareholders' vote?"
Harold entered through the door.
Sophie was startled, not expecting Harold to suddenly appear.
"Mr. Jason, did you not carefully calculate the shares of S Corporation?" Harold asked.
There were seven shareholders present.
Four of them were from the Russell family, and three were corporate shareholders.
Actually, looking at the number of people, there was no need to further calculate the shares.
Seeing Harold enter, Jason was not intimidated and said, "Mr. Aldridge doesn't seem to hold any shares of S Corporation, so he doesn't seem to have a say in this shareholders' meeting."
"I indeed don't have a say, but someone does."
Harold took out a share certificate and said, "This is the 1% share of S Corporation held by Mr. Gordon. Mr. Gordon has just conveyed his voting decision to me, this vote, Mr. Gordon gives to Ms. Sophie."
Hearing this, Jason frowned.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
