Adler shook his head.
Sophie said, "It seems like Wesley still remembers the bond between you and your father, so he ordered his men to send you back."
"If Jenna sees me like this, she'll lecture me again."
A bitter smile appeared on Adler's face as he mentioned this.
What Jenna disliked the most was seeing him covered in wounds. Even though Jenna never voiced her concern, it didn't mean she wasn't worried.
The last thing Adler wanted was to see Jenna worried about him.
"But... Jenna must be in his hands."
Adler looked at Sophie and Colby with certainty and said, "The master of The Silent Shadows is Wesley. Tredgold Corporation is just a façade. The Silent Shadows has been established for a century, almost appearing at the same time as the four major families. So, I believe… the original founder of The Silent Shadows must have been my grandfather."
Upon hearing this, Sophie and Colby exchanged glances.
They had already come to this conclusion.
But Adler's confirmation solidified it.
"This might complicate things," Harold said. "The Tredgold family is one of the four major families. They know all the secrets of the four families as if they were their own. Wesley is most familiar with all our arrangements and businesses. This also explains why the previous attacks against us were so successful."

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
