Facing Sophie's question, Harold shook his head helplessly and then said, "It seems I can't hide anything from you."
"If you knew you couldn't hide anything from me, why bother wasting time here?"
Sophie looked at Harold and said, "This time, going in is a matter of life and death. Can't you at least let me know what I'm up against?"
"Sophie."
Harold suddenly looked at Sophie seriously and said, "This time, none of us can afford to die. That's why I said, once today is over, I'll tell you everything."
Sophie was silent.
"If you want to know, then make it out alive. I think that's what Colby wants too."
Harold glanced at Colby.
Colby never refused any of Sophie's requests.
But this time, he didn't want to tell Sophie.
"Sophie, if we all make it out alive…"
Colby tightened his grip on Sophie's hand and then corrected himself, "We must all make it out alive, and we will."
"Okay."
Sophie agreed and said, "We'll make it out alive, and then… I want to hear it from you both, not one less."
"Okay."
Harold and Colby agreed at the same time.
"I've been waiting here for you half the day, can't you be a bit quicker!"
Adler had already smoked three cigarettes at the outskirts of the valley. These three were really taking their sweet time.
"We're coming."

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
