Sandy had already made up her mind: if she never stumbled upon the right person in her lifetime, she wasn't going to bother with marriage. To her, tying the knot or not was pretty much the same thing. In fact, being single seemed to offer a more laid-back and enjoyable life. Especially once she started working, she realized that romance was just a way to pass the time. Until she met someone she truly loved, she had no plans to settle for anything less. And she certainly wasn't going to marry just for the sake of it.
The conditions she laid out for Kiran were purposely set to make things tricky for him. Finding someone like Colby or Adler in all of Devonport? Now, that would be a tough task.
"If you don't get married, that's fine. I can take care of you for life," her brother chimed in.
"Yeah," Sandy replied with a playful grin. "Living with you forever sounds just fine. Isn't dating just about two people living together anyway? So, not dating isn't really a big deal."
"You're talking nonsense again," Kiran chuckled softly.
Sandy's eyes drifted over to a peculiar bottle on the desk. Curious, she asked, "Hey, what's this, bro?"
The potion was in a glass bottle, casting a rainbow of colors in the sunlight, almost like something out of a dream. Why on earth would Kiran have something so odd on his desk?
Kiran glanced at it and shrugged, "Just some trivial stuff, nothing to worry about." With that, he tucked it away.
Sandy noticed but didn't press further, figuring it was her brother's business.
"Well, I'm off to prep for tomorrow's lessons."

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
