When Perry remain silent, James already had his answer.
"So it’s really Colby."
Colby had caused a scandal at the Russell family estate twice for Sophie. If there was truly nothing between these two, Perry wouldn’t have stayed quiet.
"Tell Sophie I don’t agree to the divorce, and she should stop thinking about it!" James turned and left the Russell estate.
Perry wiped off a bead of sweat and hurriedly contacted Sophie.
Meanwhile, Sophie darkened upon answering the phone. "Alright, I got it."
Jenna, groggy with sleep, asked, "Who is it at this late hour?"
Sophie hung up the phone and said coldly, "It seems we need to move our plans up."
"Huh?"
The next afternoon, in the offices of S Corporation.
Sophie stared at the badge collected from the masquerade ball and said, "Have you settled everything?"
Tricia replied, "All set. We know exactly who attended the ball and their identities."
"Good, compile this information and indirectly leak it to James."
"Yes, Ms. Sophie."
Once Tricia left, Jenna asked in confusion, "Aren’t masquerade balls supposed to be anonymous? How do you know who attended?"

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
