After Sophie left, Nichole couldn't help but feel suspicious. Could it be that it wasn't Sophie who was reluctant to get a divorce, but James?
In the evening, when Sophie hurriedly arrived at the entrance of S Corporation, a figure pounced on her from behind.
Startled, Sophie looked up to see James before her and paused in surprise. "James?"
James smelled of tobacco and alcohol, his cheeks slightly flushed, appearing somewhat inebriated. "Sophie, I've been waiting for you."
"What are you doing?" Sophie glanced at S Corporation and then around, making sure there were no prying eyes before she relaxed a little.
James spoke in a low voice, "What's your relationship with S Corporation?"
"Did you come here to catch me?"
When James remained silent, she broke free from his grasp, saying, "I'm merely representing the Russell family to meet Mr. Blake. If you doubt me, I have nothing to say."
James' gaze was intensely fixed on Sophie. "Why."
"What?"
"Why won't you tell me anything?"
Sophie frowned deeply. "You're drunk."
"Sophie!" James grabbed Sophie's arm tightly, not letting her take a step away.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
