After Calla left, James asked in a low voice, "You're not angry at all?"
"I'm not angry." Sophie said, "I'm not a fool. She spilled that tea on you on purpose. Why should I be angry?"
She had seen it clearly when they entered; James was resisting contact with Calla, and it was Calla who forced herself on him.
"I've prepared some hot water for you to shower."
"Okay."
Sophie went upstairs, slightly relieved when she saw that James didn’t follow her.
On her phone, Jenna sent a message.
Jenna: [You haven't come back for two days!]
Sophie: [James’ grandmother moved in with us. I won't be able to return for a while.]
Jenna: [I'm so bored.]
Sophie: [Go find Adler.]
Jenna: [Adler went abroad with Colby on business! Otherwise, I wouldn't be this bored!]
Sophie’s fingers paused on her phone.
Colby went abroad?
She hesitated for a moment, then opened her and Colby's chat.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
