The coastal search and rescue team searched day and night for three days, but the ocean was vast. Despite expanding their search area, they still hadn’t found any sign of Sophie.
Meanwhile, the Russell family had already received news of Sophie’s misfortune. Perry was as anxious as a cat on a hot tin roof, while only Jessica seemed overjoyed.
If Sophie was gone, any agreement Jessica had with her naturally wouldn’t matter anymore. The future of the Russell family would belong to her and Isaac!
At that moment, Jessica watched the frantic Perry with a glint of coldness in her eyes.

On the third day, James was in despair. No one could survive three days at sea.
Colt walked into the CEO’s office, and James immediately asked, “Have you found Sophie?”
Colt shook his head, saying, “Not yet.”
The light in James’ eyes dimmed instantly, his complexion turning pale. These past few days, he had looked much more haggard than ever before.
Colt said, “Mr. Burke, it’s been three days. There’s no hope left. Continuing the search is just a waste of resources, especially now that S Corporation is on the rise. We need to take action. You need to pull yourself together.”

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
