Bea's words finally made Nichole feel at ease.
However, Calla was feeling anxious. If, in ten months, Nichole gave birth to a boy, and it was confirmed to be James' child, wouldn't that mean she had no chance at all?
At this moment, Bea turned to Calla and said, "Calla, go prepare a room for her to move into."
"Yes, Grandma Bea."
Though Calla was reluctant, she had no choice but to follow Bea's command.
Nichole watched Calla with a smug look. As a woman, how could she not see that Calla was in love with James?
She wouldn't let Calla have any opportunity.
"Bea, since I'm pregnant, shouldn't we have someone with more experience take care of me? Having such a young girl take care of me isn't the best option. What if something goes wrong with the baby?"
Nichole's timing in raising this request made her intentions crystal clear.
Calla heard this, and her face fell. She quickly looked at Bea. She didn't want to leave the Burke family and didn't want to leave James' side!
If that happened, she would have no chance at all.
"That makes sense. Let's have Marian come back to take care of you then."

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
