"Right now?" Tricia was taken aback. She didn't understand why Sophie was in such a hurry to acquire Russell Enterprises.
"Is there a problem?"
"Ms. Sophie, acquiring Russell Enterprises now is such a big move and will definitely attract a lot of attention."
"It's fine. You just need to follow my instructions. The decision-making power of the Russell family is now in my hands."
Perry had already handed over all the assets of the Russell family to her. She just needed to sign the acquisition agreement, and it would immediately become legally effective.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
