The call display showed a call from Reece.
Sophie answered the phone, feeling very tired. “Hello?”
“I heard you've signed with Aldridge Global.” Reece's voice carried his usual light laughter.
“Yeah.”
Sophie sat up and said, “I'm starting to regret letting you sign with S Corporation.”
“Why?”
“If you enter Aldridge Global, your future will undoubtedly be limitless.”
There was a moment of silence on the other end before he said, “Don't forget our agreement. I'm only your partner.”

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
