"Okay."
At that moment, inside the Burke family mansion, Bea stood up, her complexion somewhat pale. "What? You're telling me James took Sophie to the amusement park?"
"Yes, and that's not all. I heard James even rented out the entire amusement park and spent a billion on Aldridge Global just to ask Sophie out."
Calla lowered her head, feeling hurt.
Since Nichole had left, she had seized the opportunity to return to the Burke family once again.
But all of James' attention was on Sophie. He had no intention of marrying Calla.
She had learned of this news today when she went to Burke International and intended to bring James breakfast.
"That foolish boy! What is he thinking?"
Bea was fuming with anger.
Russell Enterprises had already gone bankrupt. James really shouldn't be wasting his time on Sophie! He should be looking to divorce as soon as possible!
Bea commanded, "Call Colt right now and tell him this message is from me. I want James to come home immediately!"
"Yes!"
Calla joyfully pulled out her phone. When Colt saw the call was from Calla, he pondered for a moment before answering, "Ms. Calla, does Mrs. Bea need something?"
Calla said, "She wants Mr. Burke to come home right now."
"Sorry, the signal here isn't great. I'll call you back later." After saying that, Colt hung up.
Calla's expression soured. She wasn't a child; she knew Colt had done that on purpose.
Bea, frustrated to the point of despair, said, "James! Not only did he lose his own flesh and blood, but now he's also taking his soon-to-be ex-wife to the amusement park! What is he thinking?"

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
