In this place, the trainees generally came from affluent backgrounds, with Wendy being the wealthiest of them all. She had a particular fondness for rich and handsome guys like Ricardo. Several of them pulled out their basic makeup kits from their bags, applying lipstick and powder.
Sophie frowned. Ricardo's visit to Aldridge Global surely had a purpose.

Wendy's father, Mr. Devin, was there as well, smiling so broadly his mouth could barely close.
Yesterday, James visited, and today, it was Ricardo. Was this some kind of godsend?
"Mr. Ricardo, all of our trainees are here."
Mr. Devin had summoned all the female trainees, each of whom looked at Ricardo with adoring eyes as if they wished their eyes could stick to him.
Ricardo's gaze landed on Sophie at first sight.
"Ms. Sophie."
Ricardo suddenly called out to Sophie, who responded emotionlessly, "Hello, Mr. Ricardo."
Ricardo called Sophie and everyone watched her with envy.
"Don't you have male trainees at Aldridge Global? Call them over as well."
Mr. Devin was stunned when he heard Ricardo's assistant's words.
Male trainees? What was so good about them? They were supposed to be for the wealthy ladies!
But since Mr. Ricardo's assistant had spoken, Mr. Devin immediately signaled to a manager by his side, who quickly went to call the male trainees.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
