"Do you really not know who killed my parents?"
Gordon was silent for a moment before finally speaking, "I don't know."
Sophie frowned, then escorted Gordon to the car, where the driver settled him in the back seat. Sophie sat in the car, still full of doubts.
It was destined to be a sleepless night.
Sophie whispered, "Could you take me to the Russell estate?"
"Address?"
Sophie pulled out her phone and sent Gordon the address of the Russell estate.
Gordon instructed the driver, "Drive to this location."
"Yes, sir."
The Russell family estate, according to the Russell family's tradition, was only accessible during the holiday season. Since her father's death, she had been living at Perry's place and had not returned.
Moreover, although this was the Russell family estate, no one had lived there aside from the family members of the Russell great-grand father's generation.
Sophie felt unfamiliar with the place.
The mansion was located in a central city location and had been uninhabited for many years. It was only occasionally cleaned. The chill of the night wind was bone-piercing as Sophie got out of the car. She wrapped herself in the coat Gordon had given her.
The yard was desolate, clearly lacking a gardener's care, but the security was impeccable. Sophie pushed Gordon's wheelchair to the door. Only the Russell family's key could open the door.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
