"It was Gattlin... He hit Ms. Sophie. We heard Ms. Sophie scream for help, and when we were about to step forward, Gattlin shouted at us to back off."
"We also heard Polly crying after Gattlin had hit her. Gattlin even threatened Polly, saying he would throw her into the sea to feed the fish."
"We saw Gattlin dragging away Ms. Sophie with our own eyes. Ms. Sophie also called for help, but Gattlin wouldn't let us intervene!"

Gattlin listened to the maids, who used to bow and scrape before him, now accuse him together, and his face turned pale in an instant. "Lies! You're all lying! Mr. Odie, I am innocent! These bitches are conspiring against me! Mr. Odie..."
Odie watched Gattlin, who was nearly wetting himself in fear. His eyes narrowed slightly, and his tone was laced with danger. "I gave you a chance, and you failed to prove your innocence."
"Mr. Odie! Mercy, Mr. Odie!"
Odie didn't glance at Gattlin again. With a casual wave of his hand, the two mercenaries directly lifted Gattlin off his feet.
Under the watchful eyes of all present, Gattlin was thrown into the vast sea.
The moment they heard the splash, the maids huddled together in fear.
Odie, seemingly losing interest, turned and headed back to the cabin.
"Mr. Odie." Polly, who was standing guard outside Odie's door, promptly opened it for him.
Looking at the empty, tidy room, he frowned. "Where did Sophie go?"
"Ms. Sophie changed her clothes and went back to her room."
"Did I allow her to leave?"

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
