"Get in!" Jonah shoved Sophie into Odie's bedroom.
Sophie was drenched in the scent of red wine, her hair soaked, and droplets of wine still trickling down her clothes.
Odie had just emerged from the bathroom, wearing a white bathrobe, his hair still dripping.
Sophie quickly noticed the numerous scars on Odie's body beneath his robe, scars she had seen on Colby's body before.
Odie seemed to notice Sophie's gaze. He looked down at his exposed chest and asked, "Should I strip down even more?"
Realizing her stare was too revealing, Sophie immediately averted her eyes, saying, "No need, there's nothing to see."
Odie sneered, looking Sophie up and down in her disheveled state. "Quite capable, aren't you? Smashing millions worth of red wine. What, were you trying to upset me, hoping for a swift end?"
"I cherish my life. I don't wish to die."
"So you ruin my wine cellar? Sophie, is there something wrong with your head?"
It was clear Odie was truly angry. He leaned back on the couch, stating, "Tell me, how do you plan to compensate me?"
"For millions in red wine? Mr. Odie, you can't be that petty."
"Millions sound so trivial when you mention them. Weren't you just clinging to thirty thousand dollars before?"

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
