Sophie's heart was aflutter. She was unsure of what Odie was thinking at the moment, but now all she could do was take it one step at a time.
It wasn't long before Sophie followed the manager up to the second floor's lounge area. Along the way, many covetous gazes landed on Sophie, making her extremely uncomfortable.
In the lounge, Odie sat in front of a billiards table, and the manager said, “Mr. Odie, she has arrived.”

The lounge was filled with the acrid smell of cigars, making Sophie hold her breath. Odie put down his cigar and scrutinized her figure carefully.
“The dress is a bit too big.”
“This is Ms. Leticia’s gown. I’ll have new ones made for Ms. Sophie tomorrow.”
Ms. Leticia?
Sophie searched her mind for anyone in Summerfield with that name.
Leticia...
She vaguely remembered that name in her past life. Odie's wife seemed to call that name.
Could Ms. Leticia be the future Mrs. of Odie?
Sophie pondered carefully. In this life, there seemed to be no news of Odie's engagement yet. It appeared that Leticia and Odie were probably still in the stage of cultivating their relationship.
“Sophie!”
Odie's voice suddenly pierced into Sophie’s ears, nearly shattering her eardrums.
Sophie came back to her senses, lifting her head to see Odie looking at her with a dark expression.
Sophie asked, “Mr. Odie, is there something you need?”
“I’ve called you three times. Are your ears just for show?”

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
