Just as Roland was about to whisk Sophie away, a forceful grip tore him aside, and immediately, screams like those of a pig being slaughtered filled the banquet hall.
"Ah—!"
Odie gripped Roland's hand tightly, and the sound of bones cracking was faintly audible.
"Spare me! Mr. Odie! Please, Mr. Odie, spare me!"
Roland's face turned ashen. Odie's face, however, grew even darker, his grip showing no sign of weakening.
The next second, a 'snap' was heard. Roland's hand was forcibly broken.
"Ah—!"
Everyone watched Roland on the ground, clutching his hand and wailing. The manager immediately signaled for security to come forward and take Roland away.
Sophie, leaning on the piano with one hand and propping her chin with the other, asked, "Mr. Odie, what are you doing? You've just ruined my supporter. What am I supposed to do now?"
Odie's eyes narrowed dangerously. "Are you looking for a long-term supporter? Fine, I'll grant you that."
Saying so, Odie pulled Sophie up. She was startled, still unclear about what Odie intended to do, but the next moment, Odie tossed her into a crowd of men.
Odie said coldly, "Go ahead, choose. Pick one you like and ask if he's willing to take you home."
Sophie frowned. She scanned the surrounding men. The men looked at Sophie, and none of the men dared to move an inch.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
