Sophie was curious to see how Odie intended to confront Leticia, but what she hadn't expected was Odie kicking open Leticia's bedroom door without a hint of courtesy.
Inside, the sounds of making out hit her ears, startling Sophie.
Wasn't Leticia smitten with Odie?
Why then, in broad daylight, was she wrapped up with another man in her bedroom?
Standing outside the door, Sophie couldn't see clearly who the man was, but she could make out the outline of a large, corpulent figure.
Leticia was considered a top-tier beauty in Devonport, almost like the town's jewel. Even if she were to seek a man's company, why would she choose someone of such... questionable caliber?
As Sophie's mind swirled with doubts, Leticia inside the room was obviously shocked, and the man with her scrambled out of bed in a panic.
Soon, Sophie saw the man fleeing in disarray, struggling to pull up his pants.
Leticia, pale-faced, hurriedly threw on some revealing nightwear and scolded the maids outside, "Didn't any of you think to inform me Odie was here? Have you all lost your minds?"
Leticia's anger sent shivers down the spines of the surrounding servants.
"Odie... I was just... Ah!"
Before Leticia could finish, Odie had grabbed her by the throat, her breath caught by the force of his grip.
"The ones who've grown crazy aren't them, it's you!" Odie said coldly.
"Odie... listen to me... let me explain..."
Leticia was about to clarify the situation with the man from earlier, but her gaze inadvertently caught Sophie standing at the door.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
