As soon as Sandy’s words left her lips, a deafening bang echoed from outside the door.
A dozen Costello Corporation bodyguards stormed into the room.
Sandy, never having witnessed such a scene, jumped to her feet in terror. “Who are you people? What do you want?”
Spotting the Costello Corporation crest on their uniforms, Vanessa’s face grew even more grim.
“Colby… It must be Colby…”
Vanessa stood up, ready to rush out and find Colby, but it wasn’t Colby who walked in—it was Jenna.
Vanessa froze at the sight of Jenna.
Jenna smirked. “Ms. Vanessa, in a hurry to leave? Looking for Colby, are you?”
“Colby… Why didn’t Colby come?” Vanessa's eyes darted around the room, desperately searching for Colby. But apart from Jenna and the Costello bodyguards, there was no one else.
Colby… didn’t come!
“Colby wants nothing to do with you. He sent me to tell you he's no longer bound by the promises he made to your late father. From now on, stop using your father’s name to bother Colby, or I won’t be so nice!”
Jenna’s tone was cutting, and Vanessa quickly shook her head. “No… Colby wouldn’t treat me like this… He promised me, he…”
“Enough! Vanessa, during your stay in Devonport, Colby had people looking after you. And what did you do? Let people think you were Colby’s lost love? Exploit the Costello family’s resources in the entertainment industry? Colby might turn a blind eye to other things, but hurting Sophie is unforgivable!”

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free.
