Jenna looked panicked, blurting out, "That's it, we've totally lost them now!"
Meanwhile, sitting in Colby's car, Sophie glanced curiously at the rearview mirror.
"That's strange..."
"What's strange?"
"Haven't we driven down this road before?"
"Yeah, we have."
"Then why are we here again?"
"Someone was tailing us earlier."
"That Rolls-Royce Phantom?"
"Yep."
"It looked like Adler's car."
Hearing this, Colby let out a small smile.
Sophie quickly pieced it together that the person following them was indeed Adler.
"Wow, Colby, are you planning to kidnap me or something?" Sophie joked, grinning. Colby reached over and gently pinched her nose, saying, "Not just kidnap you. I plan to keep you by my side forever."
Sophie blushed at his sudden romantic words. "You never used to say such sweet things, Colby. I'm surprised you have a whole routine now."
"Hey now, don't go accusing me. My sweet talk is just for you and no one else."
Colby put on a mock sad face, making Sophie laugh.
After driving for two hours, they finally reached a secluded area in the countryside, marked by a metal gate at the entrance to a mountain path. The gate, which looked recently installed, was electronic.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
