Sophie glanced at the school logo on Jasmine's chest and said, "I've heard about this high school. The tuition is in the seven figures annually. I don't think Mr. Dominic's salary could cover that."
Jasmine glanced fearfully at Dominic.
But Hailee, thinking quickly, said, "That's all my family's money! It has nothing to do with my husband!"
"Hailee, calm down, I'm not finished yet," Sophie replied, giving Dominic a subtle look. "That doesn't include the costs for Mr. Dominic's mistress. I noticed his secretary earlier—quite the figure and wearing some pricey jewelry. So, Mr. Dominic has to take care of his wife and daughter at home and support a mistress. Even tens of millions in salary might not be enough for all that."
"What?!"
When Hailee heard that Dominic was keeping a secretary as a mistress, her face turned pale.
Jasmine was also stunned to learn her father had another woman, and both mother and daughter's faces soured.
"Dominic! How dare you do this to me? Have you forgotten my family supported you when you were nothing? You cheat on me behind my back? I won't let you get away with this!"
Hailee moved to get up, and Sophie, raising an eyebrow, signaled to her henchman. He quickly untied Hailee, who then rushed at Dominic and started hitting him.
Dominic, usually terrified of his wife at home, had no choice but to endure it, knowing he was in the wrong.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
