Revenge is Best Served After Reborn (James) novel Chapter 943

Angelo knew James had gone after Sophie, but as long as James was okay, that was enough for him.

“Hurry up and get cleaned up,” Angelo said. “Father doesn’t know you got into trouble yet, and if he finds out, it’s gonna be a mess.”

“It should be a mess! Ricardo teamed up with Vanessa to tie me up. What a jerk!”

“Vanessa?”

Angelo was taken aback. He hadn’t expected Ricardo to conspire with Vanessa to kidnap his sister.

“Damn it!” Fuming, Angelo rolled up his sleeves and turned to leave the Pollard family mansion.

Sandy grabbed her reckless brother. “Bro! Where are you off to?”

“Where am I going? I’m gonna make those two pay! They dared to mess with my sister!”

“Bro! Hey!”

Before Sandy could stop him, James walked in, still wearing his mask.

When she saw James, Sandy frowned. “You actually came back? You...”

Just as Sandy was about to explode, Angelo quickly intervened. “Alright, Sandy, head upstairs. I’ve got things to handle down here. Just go upstairs!”

As Angelo pushed Sandy towards the stairs, she kept turning back, pointing at James, who stood there motionless. “You better teach him a lesson! He didn’t care if I lived or died! He fired his gun with me right there! Then he disappears after! That’s no way to do his job.”

“Alright, alright, I get it. I’ll definitely teach him a lesson!”

Finally managing to get Sandy upstairs, Angelo felt more exhausted than if he’d run a mile. He walked back down, wiped the sweat off his brow, and looked at the sack James was carrying. “Did you go to an abandoned factory and bring back a sack of cement or something?”

James removed his mask and dropped the sack in front of Angelo, revealing Ricardo’s pale face.
