Angelo trailed behind Sandy, practically bouncing with enthusiasm. "I went to Devonport just to keep you safe, you know! It’s all for your own good!"
"I know, I know! You always look out for me!"
Meanwhile, in Devonport, Adler and Jenna had been waiting at the airport for ages. Adler, with dark circles under his eyes, was so tired he was mistaking everyone for Sophie and Colby.
"Jenna, we could’ve waited at home. They're not kids. They can't get lost, right?" Adler grumbled, "I could've gotten a few hours of sleep. I'll be driving while half-asleep later."
"Fine, I'll drive then."
The thought of Jenna's driving instantly perked Adler up, "Actually... I think I'm good to drive."
At the airport, Sophie and Colby had just arrived. From a distance, they spotted the bickering Jenna and Adler.
"What do you mean? You think I can't drive?"
Jenna was tugging on Adler's ear, clearly irritated, when Adler quickly backpedaled, "No, no! Jenna, you're the best driver ever!"
From the crowd, Colby coughed a couple of times.
Tears welled up in Adler's eyes once he noticed Colby. "You're finally back!"
Adler rushed over and hugged Colby tightly.
Jenna also dashed to Sophie, exclaiming, "Sophie, have you lost weight? That place abroad isn't fit for normal people, is it? Did Colby take good care of you?"

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
